This Diabetes & Insulin training course caters for those working with or who are responsible for the welfare and wellbeing of people with diabetes, this includes healthcare professionals not specialising in diabetes. The course aims to teach attendees how to recognise the symptoms of diabetes, any signs of complications, to raise awareness of treatments and to build confidence in staff when supporting and caring for those suffering from diabetes. Please note: A competency framework is included in this training. Competency is achieved in the workplace following the training. Each procedure needs to be signed off by a qualified, senior member of staff. The completed document can then be used to identify the individuals’ competence.

This Pressure Area Care and Tissue Viability course is designed for carers and RGN’s who may need to update their skill and knowledge on the topics of pressure area care and tissue viability (prevention and management of wounds) including aspects of skin and soft tissue wounds.
The course considers measures to prevent pressure area wound development, the different types of pressure area wounds and best practise when managing wounds.

This CPAP and BiPAP Awareness training course is designed for health & care staff who tend to people using these devices when living with breathing difficulties or disorders.
The course delivers an overview of each of these air delivery systems, the reasons for their use, their benefits and possible side effects. The applied practical workstation & simulated practical assessment can only be provided if the equipment is available on site

This awareness course covers anaphylactic reactions in both adults and children, the correct administration of adrenaline (epinephrine), drug incompatibilities, contraindications and enables participants to differentiate between anaphylactic reactions and panic attacks.
