This Enteral or PEG Feeding training course is designed to increase awareness of enteral feeding and to provide the delegate with the practical knowledge to deal with this feeding method. In the United Kingdom it is estimated that over 10,000 individuals will be tube fed in the community which is double the number in hospitals. Protocols and procedures for clinically qualified staff who are administering feeds & medications can also be included in the course, although competency must be assessed within the scope of the delegates own organisation’s policy guidelines. This awareness course covers anaphylactic reactions in both adults and children, the correct administration of adrenaline (epinephrine), drug incompatibilities, contraindications and enables participants to differentiate between anaphylactic reactions and panic attacks. Syringe Driver Awareness

This Syringe Driver Awareness training course covers a range of issues associated with this form of medication delivery, in order to provide a highly practical resource for nurses and health professionals.
The Syringe Driver Awareness training course begins by introducing syringe drivers and their use in palliative care. Subsequently, the procedures for preparing the patient and driver, and for commencing the infusion, are outlined. Finally, a number of troubleshooting ideas and the practical application of syringe driver are presented.

IV Cannulation

This IV Cannulation training course is designed for all registered nurses who have not conducted IV Cannulation for a while and are looking to update their theory and skill set.
The IV Cannulation training course provides the chance to practice the skill in a controlled environment. This is a hands-on training course and we encourage participation in all the practical demonstrations and activities. On successful completion students will be awarded a certificate of attendance and are required to gain competency under clinical supervision within their own workplace.
