The chamber is separated from the rest of the house using carpet or a special color blanket to differentiate it. Each morning you will go into the chamber and walk straight into your own living area. In most cases, your services are extended until the evening and sometimes you will be able to choose what time you wish to visit and take a break. A typical day of live-in care includes visiting each room in order from the entryway to the bedroom.
A typical day will begin in the morning with your family member being asked to undress and put on a gown. They will then be taken through all of their rooms where there will be other people present. Once all of the rooms have been visited you will then return to your chamber. You will be dressed in your uniform for that day. Your uniform is depending on the type of live-in care service that you received but most services provide a white shirt, long pants, and a brief for the Home Care caregiver.
