This is a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) that is governed by Ofqual.

The qualification covers the knowledge and skills required by teachers/trainers in the further education and training skills sector and is intended for those who wish to gain knowledge and understanding of this sector.

The purpose of this qualification is to help learners develop skills needed to be successful within the industry, including the principles of teaching, learning and assessment, embedding and assessing language, literacy and numeracy and assessing skills and knowledge

Qualification Purpose:

This level 3 Award in Education and Training (RFQ) will give you the skills and knowledge to deliver effective training programmes, ensuring that learners receive high-quality learning experiences.

You will learn how to plan and deliver training sessions effectively, using appropriate methods and resources. You’ll also gain an understanding of how trainers can support learners’ self-directed learning, including managing their own practice.

What should be the entry requirements?

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level 3 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

• You must be at least 19+ years old.
• Have a strong command of the English language
• For the duration of the course, you must have access to a computer and the internet.
• Basic computer skills, such as word processing, emailing, and document uploading
