This Venepuncture training course is designed for all RGNs, enrolled nurses and qualified staff who may have not conducted venepuncture before or require a refresher to update their skill set.
This venepuncture training course will update your theory skills and provide the opportunity for practice before carrying out the procedure in a work environment. Following the theory of venepuncture there will be a practical session designed to offer all participants to put their skills into practice in a controlled environment.

IV Cannulation

This IV Cannulation training course is designed for all registered nurses who have not conducted IV Cannulation for a while and are looking to update their theory and skill set.
The IV Cannulation training course provides the chance to practice the skill in a controlled environment. This is a hands-on training course and we encourage participation in all the practical demonstrations and activities. On successful completion students will be awarded a certificate of attendance and are required to gain competency under clinical supervision within their own workplace.

Catheter Care

This catheter care training course illustrates these points to maximise the benefits and minimise the problems of catheterisation. Good catheter care involves good hygiene, observation, monitoring well-being and prevention of issues associated with catheterisation. By the end of this catheter course training, attendees will be familiar with reasons for catheterisation, the equipment selection and the theory of catheter removal.
Medication Administration

This clinical training course designed for healthcare professionals, who in the course of their duties may have to administer medicine and need to either refresh their skills or wish to learn more about medication.
By the end of this clinical training course; attendees will be familiar with current legislation, drug categories, labelling, prescriptions, drug administration and the accompanying paper work. Attendees will also be involved in demonstrations on the administration of tablets, capsules, creams, ointments, fluids, inserting drops to ear, nose, or eye and inhaled medication.

Our Catheterisation training course is designed for staff wanting to update both their theory and practical skills in catheterisation.
Urinary catheterisation is a medical procedure used to drain and collect urine from the bladder. By the end of the Catheterisation training course attendees will be familiar with reasons for catheterisation, the equipment selection and the processes involved with male, female and supra pubic catheterisation.

Epilepsy Rescue Medication

This Epilepsy Rescue Medication course is aimed at those working with or responsible for the welfare and well being of individuals with epilepsy.
The course is designed to ensure that practitioners are provided with relevant theoretical knowledge and skills, whilst supported with a simulated practical based assessment.
Protocols and procedures for clinically qualified staff who are administering medications can also be included in the course, although competency must be assessed within the scope of the delegates own organisation’s policy guidelines.
